The Faculty of Educational Sciences has been responsible for the organization of its own international affairs since 2006, after previously being part of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. It also has its own Committee for international affairs.
We have student and teacher exchange agreements with about 30 universities in and outside Europe as well as projects within several programmes such as Erasmus and Comenius. A student and teacher exchange agreement within different areas was recently signed with the School of Education, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
Most of our incoming students are masters students from outside Europe. The number of outgoing students has tripled since 2005/06. Each year, an International week is arranged in which visiting teachers participate.
Courses taught in English
In order to make it possible for non-Swedish speaking students to enrol, the faculty offers a number of courses taught in English.
Swedish language courses
Exchange students are offered an intensive beginner's credit course in Swedish at the beginning of each semester, or an evening course once a week.
Two courses at the Master's level are offered in English at the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
