Printing and distribution

Printing

At least one hundred copies should be printed of doctoral theses at the Faculty of Educational Sciences.

Compensation for printing costs and other costs for the public defence are included in the funding allocated to each research environment by the faculty board.

Distribution

No later than three weeks before the public defence, the doctoral thesis should be distributed as follows:

  • 10 copies to the university library (“förvärvsenheten”). The library will provide a receipt of delivery.
  • 10 copies to the Faculty Office.
  • To the PhD student's department, the number decided by that department. These are intended for internal distribution and for distribution to departments at other Swedish universities. This distribution, which is compulsory, is the responsibility of the department. The PhD student will receive a receipt of delivery.
  • Remaining copies will be divided between the department and the PhD student. The student should receive at least half of these.

Licentiate theses are distributed as follows:

  • 10 copies to the university library (“förvärvsenheten”).
  • 2 copies to the Faculty Office.
