Campuses
Linköping University has three main campuses where education and research are conducted:
- Valla campus– located in Linköping, at about three kilometres from the city centre. Here is where the majority of students and researchers study and work.
- The University Hospital campus (US) – located in Linköping, it houses the Faculty of Health Sciences.
- Norrköping campus - located in the centre of Norrköping. Here is where about a quarter of the students are enrolled.
Linköping University has a smaller campus - Carl Malmsten - situated in Lidingö, in the Stockholm county. Here is where Furniture studies are conducted.

Students with a valid LiU-card can travel for free between the three campuses. Check the timetable!
