Welcome activities

Come meet new friends and get to know the town and the university area! International Office in cooperation with student organisations organise many social activities, such as: 

• welcome barbeque
• city quizzes
• picnic and volleyball in the city park 
• walking tour of Valla farm and forest
• guided tour of campus Valla
• guided tour of Linköping Cathedral
• waffle afternoon in “Färgargården” in Norrköping 
• dinner party
• ...and much more

We also offer information sessions to help you get to know the Swedish system: public health care, insurances, the Tax Office, Swedish history and politics, etc.

Most of the activities are free of charge. A few, such as visiting the old part of Linköping or attending a movie night, require a small fee for participation.
