Courses
The first course, Introduction to Advanced Academic Studies starts on August 20, 2012. This is a two-week compulsory introduction course for all new Master’s students at Linköping University. Detailed information on the course website (will be updated with 2012 schedule).
The second course, Introduction to Sustainable Development, starts September 3, 2012. You find further information about this (and other programme courses) at the programme homepage (www.liu.se/sustainabledevelopment), where we will also keep you updated concerning matters that are specific for our Master’s programme. If you want to prepare for the course you can start reading the following literature; Rogers, P.P., Jalal, K.F. and Boyd, J.A., An Introduction to Sustainable Development. London & Sterling, VA: Earthscan, 2008. (Primarily chapters 1, 2, 5 and 14) and Sismondo, S., An Introduction to science and technology studies. 2nd ed. Chichester: Wiley-Blackwell, 2010. (Primarily chapters 1, 2, 5, 7, 8).
