Full student satisfaction
Aiswaryaa Viswanathan came to Sweden in August 2011 for a master’s programme at Linköping University. Mathematics, especially statistics, has always been her area of interest so she chose the Statistics and Data Mining programme at LiU.
“Doing a master’s has always been my aim. Each student has to have an extra edge over others to succeed, due to the tough competition that prevails these days. I thought Sweden would be the best place to do my master’s and get that edge,” Aiswaryaa explains more about her choice.
Becoming competitive
The programme proved to be very good so far and Aiswaryaa is totally pleased with her studies “I would say this master’s programme gives students deeper knowledge in statistics and it teaches them how to look at it from a broader perspective. Anyone who does this course ends up in complete satisfaction.”
Regarding her plans after the master, Aiswaryaa says she would like to study further, on a doctoral level. “I would like to do a PhD in the same field. One who takes this programme can work in various fields, for example data analysis, statistics, forensics, biomedicine etc., but my area of interest is data analysis, especially business analysis.”
