For Statistics and Data Mining students

The programme focuses on modern developments in the intersection of statistics, artificial intelligence and database management, providing the participants with a unique competence on the labor market.
With the growth of computer capabilities, the databases are getting larger and become more complex, making traditional statistical methods less effective or even unsuitable. In these data-rich environments, methods from data mining, statistical visualization, computational statistics and other computer-intensive statistical methods included in the programme has become increasingly popular in governmental agencies, private enterprises and academic world.
The program includes different courses from statistics, data mining and database methodology and a master thesis.
