The Swedish Model, 15 credits

This course deals with the Swedish model from various viewpoints and examines it in a comparative European framework. It also discusses the role of the model in contemporary Sweden and its impact on other European countries.
The course consists of two parts:
1. The Roots of the Swedish Model
2. The Swedish Welfare System.

Specific admission requirements: Documented knowledge of English equivalent to Engelska B/Engelska 6; i.e. English as native language or an internationally recognized test, e.g. TOEFL (minimum scores: Paper based 575 + TWE-score 4.5, and internet based 90), IELTS, academic (minimum score: Overall band 6.5 and no band under 5.5), or equivalent.
