International Environmental Management , 7,5 credits

The course takes an in depth approach to the scientific basis of international environment work and looks at different perspectives on globalisation in relation to the other themes of the course how international conditions relate to sustainable development, methods and tools that are used in international environment management, and the correlation between the EU and Swedish environmental policy. EU environmental law is introduced with a focus on directives. The course includes in depth studies of international agreements, negotiations and conventions, Swedish international aid work and how companies are affected by international environment policy.

Specific admission requirements: At least one year of full time undergraduate study in environment science or equivalent.
Documented knowledge of English equivalent to Engelska B/Engelska 6 i.e. English as native language or an internationally recognized test, e.g. TOEFL (minimum scores: Paper based 575 + TWE-score 4.5, and internet based 90), IELTS, academic (minimum score.
