Psychology 5, 60 credits

The course deepens the theoretical and methodological knowledge in some areas of psychology and continues to give experience of research work. Thesis work is done individually.

Research in psychology on the IBL is primarily focused on cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, neuropsychology, clinical psychology, groups and social systems and disability issues. Expert supervisors in these areas are available at the institution, with a limited number of supervisors in each area.

Specific admission requirements: Passed Psychology 1, Psychology 2, Psychology 3, Psychology 4, each 30 hp with at least 15 hp independent work at Bachelor-level and 15 hp of independent work at an Masters-level. (or equivalent).
In addition to the above, documented knowledge of English equivalent to Engelska B/Engelska 6; i.e. English as native language or an internationally recognized test, e.g. TOEFL (minimum scores: Paper based 575 + TWE-score 4.5, and internet based 90), IELTS, academic (minimum score: Overall band 6.5 and no band under 5.5), or equivalent.
