Social and Political Ethics, basic course, 7,5 credits
The course focuses on ethical theories and relevant ethical problems within the field of social and political ethics. A central topic is the concept of social justice, its different interpretations, its connections to liberty, equality and culture, its justification and various suggestions for its implementation. A part of the course investigates a special focus area within applied social and political ethics.

Specific admission requirements: At least one year of full-time undergraduate studies and at least 30 ECTS credits in a relevant subject (such as ethics, philosophy, religious studies, political science etc). Documented knowledge of English equivalent to Engelska B/Engelska 6; i.e. English as native language or an internationally recognized test, e.g. TOEFL (minimum scores: Paper based 575 + TWE-score 4.5, and internet based 90), IELTS, academic (minimum score: Overall band 6.5 and no band under 5.5), or equivalent.
