Faculty of Health Sciences

The Faculty of Health Sciences offers education on different levels within medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy as well as medical biology and biomedical laboratory science.

Interprofessional and problem-based learning , individually planned clinical/practical modules, theoretical lectures offered in English, participation in tutorial groups and carrying out supervised research projects are some of the study opportunities offered to exchange students at the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Partner universities are kindly asked to inform the international coordinator at the Faculty of Health Sciences, with their nominations of selected students no later than 1 April for the autumn semester and 1 October for the spring semester. The complete applications should reach us before or on 15 April for the autumn semester and 15 October for the spring semester.

The academic year consists of two semesters. Autumn semester runs from mid-August to mid-January, spring semester from mid-January to the beginning of June.

Exchange students must be present at the start of the semester, and take part in the Orientation Week, but may complete the second half of the semester at their home university.
