Gender Studies - Intersectionality and Change , 12 credits

The course gives an introduction to contemporary key issues, debates and concepts within the field of Gender Studies - Intersectionality and Change (GS/IC). Furthermore, the course provides a platform for discussions of the potential of the field in relation to higher education and research across disciplines and faculties, as well as to professional work with processes of intersectional gender mainstreaming in society at large, in organisations, media, communication, politics and knowledge production at a national and transnational level. Local as well as global processes of change are taken into account.
