Environmental Monitoring , 7,5 credits
The aim of the course is to develop the skill to create environmental monitoring programs adequate for the monitoring purpose, perform statistical analyses of environmental data, use mathematical modelling as a tool for analysing and interpreting environmental data and to present the strengths and weaknesses of different data analysis methods. The course content is shaped by adequately designed environmental monitoring programs needed to produce the source facts for environmental work. The course also includes methods for analysing and presenting the data resulting from environmental monitoring work.
