We welcome all papers that deal with the history of children and youth from all periods of time. We encourage historical papers and sessions drawing upon comparative and interdisciplinary perspectives borrowing from areas such as demography, ethnography, ideological analysis, institutional approaches, legal studies, media studies, psychological frameworks, etc.

The fourth biennial conference of the Society for History of Children and Youth is the first to be held in Europe. It is organized through the Department of Child Studies, Linköping University (LiU) at Campus Norrköping. The conference will be held in the historic and beautiful centre of Norrköping, one hour and thirty minutes south of Stockholm. Lodging options will be provided in hotels and student dormitories nearby.
