SECURITY-LINK brings together a unique consortium from Linköping University (LiU) and the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), together with complementary expertise from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Chalmers University of Technology.

SECURITY-LINK covers the entire range of technical domain priorities listed in the VINNOVA NRA Security report:

  1. communications
  2. signal and information technologies
  3. artificial intelligence and decision support
  4. information security technologies
  5. computing technologies.

 

 

FORUM SECURITATIS

The LiU–FOI graduate school, established in 2008, is the platform for graduate studies. Multidisciplinary projects, industrial consciousness, and scientific excellence are important priorities in the school.

CARER

The Center for Advanced Research in Emergency Response is a collaboration between LiU and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), which includes a chaired professorship in response systems funded by MSB. The aim is to consolidate and promote existing research at LiU in the domain of risk, emergency & crisis response and coordination.

FOCUS

The institute excellence center is since 2007 an industrial platform of collaborative research with Swedish manufacturers in the sensor and sensor network area, with annual workshops with active end-user participation.

KMC

The Center for Teaching & Research in Disaster Medicine and Traumatology pursues research, development, and education at regional, national, and international levels.
