Science as knowledge and culture
The nordic research symposium on science teaching (NFSUN) will be organized for the tenth time in 2011. The first conference was held in Ebeltoft in Denmark in 1984, and has been conducted every three years since then. The Nordic countries alternate as hosts for the symposium, and this time it will be held in Linköping in Sweden.
The symposium is an important forum for presenting and discussing research in Nordic science education. Research and development are combined, and researchers and educators from preschool, primary, secondary and university are all welcome to participate. The symposium serves both as a meeting place and as a platform for the establishment of networks in science education research.
