MUSIC at LINKÖPINGS UNIVERSITET

Linköpings universitet provides a lot of music activities.

The Linköping University Women's Choir - LINNEA is a choir for the skilled female chorister. The choir practices once a week on Mondays 18.30-21.00. Music Director and conductor is Merete Ellegaard.

The Linköping University Male Voice Choir - LIHKÖREN is a choir for the skilled male chorister. The choir practices once a week on Tuesdays 19.00-21.30. Music Director and conductor is Hans Lundgren.

The Linköping University Chamber Choir for the very skilled and experienced singer. The choir practices every other Thursday 19.00-22.00. Music Director and conductor is Hans Lundgren.

Linköping University Symphony Orchestra is a study course in orchestra playing for those who play a symphony orchestra instrument and wishes to maintain and develop their ability. The orchestra practises Wednesdays 18.30-21.30. Music Director and conductor is Merete Ellegaard.

All four ensembles above practice in the orchestra and choir hall at Musicum, situated in building C, entrance 12 on Campus Valla. In Musicum there are also two smaller rooms with a piano available for those who wish to practice music on their own.The directors' offices are in building Key on Campus Valla. See map.
