CSPR seminar: Climate change in the classroom

Per will present insights from the on-going research project “Sustainable development as an area of knowledge – the education system's role in bringing up the future citizens”. This project investigates sustainable development as an area of knowledge within compulsory, secondary, and tertiary education (teacher training). The investigation focuses on how the area of knowledge is organized with regards to the plasticity of the concept ‘sustainable development’, its problem definitions as well as the education programmes’ qualifications and methods for dealing with sustainable development. At the seminar, Per will lead a discussion on what the findings with regards to sustainable development could imply for climate change.
