The EU's Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013

The general goal for the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) is to contribute to the EU's development towards an advanced knowledge-based society with sustainable economic development, more and better job opportunities and better social coherence. In particular, the Programme aims at promoting exchange, collaboration and mobility between educational systems in the European Community, so that it becomes a world quality reference.

LiU has been awarded an Erasmus University Charter for the period 2007-2013, which is a prerequisite for participation in, among other things, Erasmus. To find out more about the strategies, goals and actions within LiU's Erasmus participation, please read our EPS - European Policy Statement (PDF)
