Outdoor Education, continuation course, 15 ECTS credits

In this course, the roots of outdoor education as well as the latest international research in the field are presented. Through the combination of practical experiences, lectures and seminars the students can achieve a deeper understanding for outdoor education. The natural and cultural landscape is a base for learning and education for sustainable development. Health aspects and the relations between human and society are also analyzed in the course.

The course is offered as a single-subject course or as part of a second year of Master of Outdoor Environmental Education and Outdoor Life.
