Master of Outdoor Environmental Education and Outdoor Life, 60 credits

The main aim of the program is to clarify the capacity of Outdoor Environmental Education and Outdoor Life to contribute to sustainable development, environmental health and citizenship. Contemporary ideas of sustainable development in different human fields of activity presuppose a deep and elaborated awareness of the conditions for a human being's interaction with the environment. The Masters program at Linköping University focuses on experiential learning based on Nature, Culture and Society. Teaching includes field-related experiences in the out-of doors, learning in and through natural and cultural landscapes.

Target group: Teachers in pre-school, compulsory school and highschool.

The Master's program 2012/2013 will start 27th August 2012 and finish 20th June 2013.
