The Graduate School in Language and Culture in Europe
is a collective name for the linguistic and literary research at the Department of Culture and Communication (IKK). The Graduate School thus comprises both the Department's established research and its postgraduate education in Comparative Literature and Linguistics. In addition it includes our international Master's programme.
The common thread linking the Graduate School as a whole is its focus on the study of language processes and products in their cultural context and in a European perspective. This orientation is in character both cross-disciplinary and multidisciplinary and has three principal angles of approach: cultural theory, literary theory and linguistic theory.
