HELIX Academy

HELIX Academy is a platform for joint knowledge, experience and dialogue. We offer seminars and training activities where you can share and discuss our latest research.

HELIX Academy is also a forum where the participants are offered the opportunity to initiate, introduce and discuss development and innovation processes.

The aim is to provide inspiration and a new perspective for organisational and regional development.

The program is intended for people working in all levels of the organisation, both in industry, services, and public organizations.

Inspiration Seminars

Under the heading Inspirational Seminars we present skills developed in HELIX, with the ambition to make research available to organisations in the region.

The presentations cover a range of topics and concerns current problems and challenges for both industry, services and public organisations.

Workshops

HELIX workshops are based on current and practical issues and involves a pre-selected case, which is presented and discussed in detail. It may be a problem that needs to be highlighted, or an approach that deserves to be spread.

HELIX workshops are an opportunity for you to take up for discussion both problems and new ways of working. The aim is to use our collective expertise to develop alternative approaches to organizational dilemmas. It also aims to disseminate best practices among organisations.

We encourage you to contribute with case studies and exemple that forms the basis for our workshops.

Network

Our ambition is to build networks in which participants have the opportunity to exchange experience with each other and with researchers in any field.

The networks have fixed members and meets about four to five times a year.

Currently, a network with a focus on Lean is taking shape. Please contact Johanna Engstrom, HELIX Coordinator, if you are interested in participating in this network, or if you have an idea for a network with a different focus.

Research Seminars

At HELIX research seminars we present and discuss current research on working life. A seminar is by its nature dialogue oriented, but begins with one of the HELIX researchers or an invited guest presenting ongoing or published research.

Partnership Meetings

In the HELIX partnership meetings researchers and representatives of partner organisations meet to discuss common interests and strategies.

An important task of the partnership meeting is to develop joint projects. Traditional limits may be exceeded when industry, services and public sector organisations identify similar challenges. In the same way, management, employees and union representatives work together on joint projects.

HELIX comes to you

Together HELIX research group has a broad knowledge, which makes it possible to offer lectures with different orientations and even "customized" seminars and consultations based on the organization's specific needs and preferences. Contact Johanna Engstrom, HELIX Coordinator, and we will try to develop a concept that suits you.
