Agora Materiae
A new graduate school with a multidisciplinary direction within Material Physics was initiated in January 2012. This graduate school within the AFM(Advanced Functional Material) initiative includes both hard and soft materials, and can involve about 20 research groups/areas at several departments (IFM, IEI, ITN…). We had our first seminar February 15.
The graduate school has a concept similar to the well established Forum Scientium. The graduate school is organized by the director of AFM (Lars Hultman), the graduate school head (Per Olof Holtz), the graduate school mentor (Stefan Klintström), the graduate school administrator (Kirstin Kahl), and the student council (5 PhD students).
