Organisation

Forum Scientium is led by a management group that consists of the chairman of the Scientific Advisory Council (Ingemar Lundström), the programme director (Stefan Klintström), and the research administrator (Susann Årnfelt).

The Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) is formed to take the long-term responsibility for the scientific programme of Forum Scientum. The reason for this is the multidisciplinary nature of Forum, which requires expertise in several fields for a successful research programme. The chairman of SAC will actively work within Forum Scientum in close collaboration with the programme director.

The Student Council is formed by the PhD-students and will serve as the continuous contact between the programme director and the PhD-students. A student may only belong to the council for one year. Besides taking care of "problems" and "suggestions" regarding the doctoral programme, this council is responsible for planning and organizing almost all activities within Forum Scientium. The Student Council is very important for Forum Scientium since it focuses on the fact that a successful activity is the responsibility of the students.
