Carl-Göran Svedin, professor i barn- och ungdomspsykiatri, Institutionen för klinisk och experimentell medicin
Professor Svedin holds the first and only Swedish professorial chair with the emphasis on Child Abuse and Neglect. He leads a research team with two associate professors, three postgraduate fellows and twelve doctoral students. Their work focuses on the gene-environment-trauma model and address topics such as physical child abuse, sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, child pornography, online sexual abuse, polytraumatisation, PTSD, and dissociation. Svedin is an internationally active researcher, especially concerning studies around the Baltic Sea in connection with the Council of Baltic Sea States.
