Useful links to local and regional initiatives and organizations that support research, development and commercialization within medical technology and related areas are found below.

New Tools for Health - VINNVÄXT program in Östergötland for the development and commercialization of products and services for efficient home-based nursing and care. Important participants include the Municipalities of Linköping and Norrköping, the Countly Council in Östergötland, Linköping University and local enterprises.

NovaMedTech - innovative environment in east middle Sweden (the counties of Södermanland, Västmanland, Östergötland och Örebro) for the development and commercialization of medical technologies for distributed care and personal health, as well as for image-based diagnostics and therapy.

Agora Link - a "square" of research environments, industry networks and medical activities created in a joint effort between Linköping University and industry. Gives graduate students within medical technology an opportunity to strenghten the entrepreneurial aspects of their education and to enhance its relevance to industry.

Santa Anna IT Research Institute AB - ICT research institute in Mjärdevi Science Park (Linköping) that performs applied research in cooperation with industry, universities (mainly Linköping University) and the public sector, within (among other things) hosital- and home-based health care.
