Catastrophe medicine
The science of catastrophe medicine is the basis for the preparedness of health care and medical treatment during severe hardship, grave events or armed attack. The goals of catastrophe medicine are such things as being able to identify and define measurable criteria for the ability of medical treatment to effectively deal with large accidents and grave events, and to develop a scientific basis for evaluating and ensuring the quality of the management of medical treatment in such situations.
