Daily Life Research in LiU

The daily life research is interdisciplinary and is based on daily life.

The research field is multidisciplinary and examines how people organize and live their daily lives, what happens in the meetings between the welfare system and the individuals in their families and households, what the relationship between individual and society looks like in these meetings and how family life, working life and welfare institutions are connected. This is being studied from both contemporary and historical perspectives with different methods and in relation to various social issues such as environment, sustainability, health, diversity and participation. A number of the researchers are part of the research network "Daily life".
