Gender studies

Gendering Excellence (GEXcel 2007-2013) is one of the Swedish Research Council’s three Swedish centres of excellence in gender research.

The centre is led by four professors at LiU and two at Örebro University, which collaborates with LiU within the Institute for Thematic Gender Studies.

One long term goal is to create a European centre for gender research.

GEXcel will gather international top researchers by announcing a number of one-year fellowships on different themes.
