Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance

The Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Group at Linköping University develops and applies novel magnetic resonance imaging methods for the assessment of the cardiovascular system with main focus on quantification of flow and motion. The research is conducted by a multidisciplinary research team headed by professor Tino Ebbers, PhD and professor Jan Engvall, MD, PhD. The overall aim of the group is to improve the in-depht understanding and diagnostics of cardiovascular disease, gain a deeper understanding of the consequenses of interventional procedures, and thus, refine and expand therapeutic strategies.
