NORDISCO 2012, November 21-23
The focus of the conference is on the organisation, structure and constitution of text, discourse, talk and social interaction. We therefore welcome researchers and contributions from different and diverse fields of enquiry, including - but not limited to - discourse studies, conversation analysis, discursive psychology, critical discourse analysis, interaction analysis, rhetoric, narrative analysis, discourse theory, political discourse analysis, social semiotics, multimodal discourse analysis, applied linguistics, gesture studies and communication activism, as well as approaches to discourse and interaction to be found in sociology, political science, environmental science, economics, media studies and cultural studies.

KVIT
KVIT stands for cognitive science and information technology in Swedish and is the local Cognitive Science conference organized by students of the cognitive science program at Linköping University. KVIT was first held in 1993 and has since then grown into the popular international symposium it is today. Below you will find links to the most recent years.

Swecog Conference 2012, April 26-27
The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers within cognitive science in Sweden. An important aspects of the conference is to provide opportunities for learning about cognitive research at various universities, as well as having ample time for informal discussions with cognitive science researchers from all over Sweden.
The conference includes presentations by distinguished national and international researchers from various areas of Cognitive Science. An Interactive Event will also give the opportunity for participants to present, demonstrate or discuss ongoing research, a research project, research group or environment.

Persuasive 2012, June 6-8
The 7th International Conference on Persuasive Technology (Persuasive 2012) will build on the successful prior conferences held at Eindhoven, Stanford, Oulu, Copenhagen, Claremont, and Columbus. The conference will feature the latest insights into how mobile and internet-based applications such as mobile games and social networking sites can be designed to influence behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. The conference is expected to gather researchers, practitioners, and students who are interested in networking, presenting, discussing and reflecting on central themes associated with persuasive computing and design.
