Other recommended places to stay

STF Hostel af Chapman & Skeppsholmen is centrally located on the island of Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. The Chapman sailing ship has recently been renovated from keel to mast, and is one of city’s most famous landmarks.

Stay in comfortable cabins on the ship - some of which have been restored back to their original style - or in regular rooms with bunk beds in the 19th century building on Skeppsholmen. This location also has an unusual history - the original building used to serve as firewood storage space for the royal castle in the 18th century.

From the hostel you are close to Stockholm’s museum, restaurants and entertainment. Simply hop on a Djurgården ferry to easily get to Skansen open-air museum, Cirkus concert hall and Gröna Lund amusement park. In just a few minutes you can walk to the archipelago ferries at Strömskajen and further on to Kungsträdgården. Our hostel is a meeting place for people from near and far, including global travellers, interrailers and families with children.
